Hey guys, with only 3 testers and an ever increasing influx of people NOA is constantly seeking new recruitments to join part of its strong team who work to keep the site going round the clock!

If you have scored 85 or higher in your dorm test and would like to become a tester you can apply here by leaving a comment bellow with your name and if possible (highly recommended) your Skype name.

There will be a short 40 or so minute test to determine whether you have the stuff to become a tester! Do not worry, if unsuccessful first time you are eligible to retake the test 3 days later.

It would be beneficial if you have Skype so that the testers can speak to you 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 in a group chat there. To give you some idea of what to expect -

Here is the layout of the test:



PART 1 - ::DECK RECONSTRUCTION:: Time Given - 15 Minutes.

In this first part you will be given by a tester a deck which is from January 2014 TCG format. You will then be given 15 minutes to reconfigure the deck to post April 2014 TCG standards and then need to submit a photo or screen grab of the new list you have created to us. It is advised but not mandatory that you use all the 15 minutes time you have been given.




PART 2 - ::CREATIVITY DUEL:: Time Given - 30 Minutes

In part 2 you and a tester will be given 1 card name. You will then have 15 minutes to construct a deck which themes or is majorly centred around that 1 card.

You will then duel the tester (given the same card name) in a single duel with your constructed deck.

We ask that you do a short write up about that testers performance  and their deck which they used. This need only be 7-8 lines or explained to them in the Skype chat, and to give their performance a mark out of 25 - you may use the same sort of structure we use in dorm testing. *tip* look for anything they did wrongly - anticipate some misplays.




HOW DO YOU PASS?

Unlike dorm tests you will not be "scored" for your performance.

For part 1 be ready to answer questions from the tester about the structure of your deck, on some of the card choices you had, and some short scenarios of what you would do in a certain instance.

For Part 2 expect similar to part 1 in terms of your deck structure - but in a little less detail. Instead we will be focused more on how you scored us and why you gave us points in places and why we dropped points. We will also anticipate that you explain in detail any (if indeed we do) misplays we had or anything we could have done better.

It is then up to the person testing you whether they pass you or not. Do not be discouraged if you do not pass, if you don't the tester will explain where you have failed and where you should try to improve next time around!
