First there was Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. Then came Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, 5D’s, and Zexal. Now, a fifth installment is on its way! An image from the upcoming issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, pictured above, reveals that a new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series will premiere in Spring 2014. Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V (pronounced “arc five”) will star a new protagonist, Yuuya Sakaki. Pictured alongside him are two key monsters.
Weekly Shonen Jump calls the new series the fifth Yu-Gi-Oh! project, preceded by Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. (The very first Yu-Gi-Oh! television anime from Toei Animation and TV Asahi in 1998 is often not grouped with the others, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II sequel is combined with the first Zexal series.
The current Yu-Gi-Oh! television anime, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II, premiered in Japan in October 2012. Konami began airing this series on The CW's Vortexx programming block in the United States in August.
What new mechanics could Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V bring to the trading card game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

I'm wondering how konami can make the game more broken but it's konami so i'm sure they will find a way.

I wonder how well this protagonist is. Yuma was by far the worst protagonist IMO. What I do hope is that this series becomes alot more serious and dark than Zexal. Some antagonists NOT bent on world destruction/domination would be appreciated. As far as how much more broken the game can get... Hehehe, Konami won't disappoint, we might see something even worse than Dragon Ruler or Prophecy was pre- September 1.
