Watch Dogs’ premise is based on its main character, Aiden Pearce, who is attempting to hack into the main operating system of Chicago–the Central Operating System (ctOS). The corrupt system is controlled by the government of Chicago and contains all of the important information within the city, including resident information.
Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch_Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.
Chicago's overarching network is known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city's technology and information - including key data on all of the city's residents.
You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you'll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the CtOS from the palm of your hand. You'll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.

Watch_Dogs will feature both online and co-op Multiplayer modes. Both will center around the single player campaign and the various hacking tools that are available.The highly anticipated open-world game will feature online Team Deathmatch for up to eight players, plus an Online Decryption mode which has two teams competing to obtain a data file
WATCH DOGS MULTIPLAYER
Intrusion Belanger describes this as a “techno high-and-seek where you need to steal data from your opponent and get away. He can actually stop you if he finds you with the profiler.”
Decryption Those who want a highly competitive team-based throwdown will find it with this four-against-four PvP mode. It’s fast, it’s intense, and it’s fully integrated into the open-world Chicago. See it in action in the video above.
Tailing If you enter someone’s game, you can follow and observe him. The goal is to gain valuable information before escaping. As Belanger explains, both the tailing and intrusion gameplay are built to “create a neutral-positive dynamic between two players that’s in the universe of Watch Dogs. If someone comes into your game just to kill you, it’s not fun.”
Racing As straightforward as it sounds. Players can use different cars and race on different tracks, all set within the game’s world.
