[OCG] Pendulum Summons & New Rules

‘Major Rule Changes Coming TO THE OCG:

The player going first cannot draw on the first turn!

Both players can both have a Field Spell Card on the field, simultaneously!

The text for Official Card Game cards will be made easier to read!

EDIT: You can note that the cards from the new Starter Deck have their effects numbered.

These new rules take effect for the Official Card Game starting March 21st, 2013, when the Starter Deck comes out!






Details on Pendulum Summons:
(This is not a clear explaination of how the mechanic works, please wait for further details to explain it.)



1. There are two new Pendulum Zones on the field
2. There are new Pendulum Monsters with “Scales” to the left and right of the card (the red and blue things)
You can place them in the Pendulum Zones, if you do they becomes Spells instead of monsters
differnet pendulum monsters have different scale numbers
3. Once you have 1 pendulum monster in each p zone, you can perform a pendulum summon
you take the numbers between the two scale numbers, in this case 1 and 8, so 2-7
4. In this turn with this pendulum summon you can summon any number of monsters from your hand and face-up pendulum monsters from your extra deck that are of levels 2-7
and you can only do this one time, so you can’t summon something now, draw some, and then summon some more later
in the same turn
also when pendulum monsters die you can play them face-up in your extra deck
when you perform a pendulum summon you can summon 1 of them from your extra





Pendulum Monsters :



Hoshiyomi no Majutsushi (Astromancy Magician)
Dark Spellcaster / Pendulum / Effect
Pendulum Scale 1
LV5 1200/2400
Spell Effect: If your Pendulum Monster battles, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards until the end of the damage step. If your other Pendulum Zone does not have a “Majutsushi” card or “Odd-Eyes” card, this card’s Pendulum Scale becomes 4.
Monster Effect: Once per turn, when 1 Pendulum Monster you control is returned to your hand by your opponent’s card effect: You can Special Summon 1 monster with the same Level from your hand.




Tokiyomi no Majutsushi (Chronomancy Magician)
Dark Spellcaster / Pendulum / Effect
Pendulum Scale 8
LV3 1200/600
Spell Effect: If you control no monsters you can activate this card. If your Pendulum Monster battles, your opponent cannot activate Trap Card until the end of the Damage Step. If you do not have a “Majutsushi” card or an “Odd-Eyes” card in your other Pendulum Zone, this card’s Pendulum Scale becomes 4.
Monster Effect: While this card is in your Monster Card Zone, once per turn cards in your Pendulum Zone cannot be destroyed by your opponent’s card effects.




Masou Seiryuu Etherweapon
LIGHT/Dragon
Level 6
2300/1600
When this card is Pendulum Summoned: you can target 1 card on the field;. Return it to its owner’s hand.The effect of “Masou Seiryuu Etherweapon” can only used once per turn.




Masou Senshi Vandra
Wind Warrior / Effect
LV5 2000/800
This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Dragon-Type/Spellcaster-Type/Warrior-Type Normal Monster in your Graveyard; add that monster to your hand.




Byakko no Shoukanshi (White Tiger Summoner)
Earth Spellcaster / Effect
LV3 1000/1700
1: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can activate this effect. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Normal Monster from your hand. 2: Whiel this card is in your Monster Card Zone, your monsters gain 100 ATK and DEF.

Yu-gi-oh is ruined...its all a money making scheme...everyone will need new mats, to get these pendulum cards otherwise they won't be able to summon OP stuff...bad bad bad idea.

It would be fun to see these pendulum summons in the old op rulers you would spend most the match  study writing things down to kept track of things would be really confusing & the pendulum monsters are op well done konami.
